Deep Sky

Deep sky photography, also known as astrophotography or deep space photography, is a specialized form of photography that focuses on capturing images of celestial objects beyond our solar system. It involves using specialised equipment, techniques, and often long exposure times (from a few seconds to several hours) to capture the faint light emitted by galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, and other deep space objects – sometimes even million light years away from us!
This type of photography can capture a wide range of objects, including galaxies such as the Andromeda Galaxy or the Whirlpool Galaxy, nebulae like the Orion Nebula or the Veil Nebula, and star clusters such as the Pleiades or the Cluster of Hercules. The resulting images showcase the intricate details, colors, and structures present in these distant celestial objects, revealing the beauty and vastness of the universe
